Our Web Design Process

Consult

Consult

After organising a meeting to talk about your website, I’ll help you establish your goals, budget, target audience, time frame, and all required features for your website.

Mock-up

Mock-up

Upon receiving 50% payment for the website, I take note of your requirements and from my office I create a wireframe mock-up for your approval. Included in the overall cost are up to 3 revisions of the mockup. The mockup is designed for mobile devices as well as laptop and desktops, completing what is known as a Responsive Design.

Design

Upon receiving your approval of the final mockup, I design the overall look of the website in consultation with you.

Content

Content

Together we decide whether you wish to provide your own content or I can get my SEO Copywriter involed. If you choose to use my SEO Copywriter I get them to contact you either via a face to face meeting, a telephone call or with an email to complete a questionnaire. This will give them information about your business, and the message you want to convey to your customers and/or target audience. Once you have approved the content with the Copywriter, I add it to the design of your site or page and then seek your final approval.

Development

Development

This is done by first developing the home page, followed by a “shell” for the other pages. The shell serves as a template for the content pages of your site, as it contains the main navigational structure for the web site. Once the shell has been created, I take your content and distribute it throughout the site, into the appropriate areas.
